Reliance on Hamid Gul is a bit sketchy in my opinion. One reason I say this is because he is very pro-Pakistan. As in, they never did anything wrong. Much in the way someone like Netanyahu, or an American Politician would be. I saw him comment once on the allegations of the ISI's involvement in the 9/11 attacks, and he smirked, and said he knows Lt. General Mahmood Ahmed, and he denied any involvement. I wrote a rather extensive comment on it here...

As I said, it has NEVER been addressed by the American Government in any way, shape, or form that I'm aware of. Yet, they have been questioned on it by SEVERAL people on SEVERAL different occasions.

There are allegations that the Pakistani Government lobbied the 9/11 Commission not to mention their involvement.

There is more reason to believe the connection than not, so in that regard, I don't find Hamid Gul credible.

Just to be clear, and as I've said on many occasions, we should not be bombing Pakistan.

He writes, "A Pakistani, Khaled Sheik Mohammed, claimed he was the mastermind – after being tortured by near-drowning 183 times by the CIA."

That is not an entirely accurate statement.

As Kristen Breitweiser writes, "Not to mention that KSM also made a self-admission about planning the 9/11 attacks on al-Jazeera long before he was captured and tortured by our government. So I'm confident that even taking into account all the mishandling and mistakes made by the Bush Administration, KSM will not be set free."

Some have doubts about the Fouda interview... As do I...

However...

I spoke with Coleen Rowley about this admission, and she said she met Fouda, and he seemed to be credible. I very much trust the word of Coleen Rowley.

He writes, "Osama bin Laden was never a US agent, though his group indirectly received funds from CIA to fight the Communists."

There are many reasons to believe that is simply NOT the case. Read #36 in my article

http://911truthnews.com/the-facts-speak-for-themselves/

He refers to Condoleezza Rice as "Bush’s incompetent national security advisor." She was one of the most competent liars I have ever seen. She was FAR from incompetent.

He says, "Bush also reportedly told Blair that after Iraq, he would “go on” to attack Saudi Arabia, Syria and Pakistan." I'm unfamiliar with this... could someone show me a source?

This story by Eric Margolis was scrubbed from Huffington Post based on their editorial guidelines which would appear to exclude any questions about the official story of 9/11. This is now the only place to find the full text of the story in nearly its original format.

I left a very logical and respectful comment which wasn't approved while the editors decided that the following comment was just fine.

"So the amateur videos of the planes flying into the WTC buildings were false? And so were eyewitness accounts? And the screams of the people trapped inside? And also the triumphant utterances of the Al-Qaeda leadership on videos? How much is the Pakistan Govt. paying you to support Al-Qaeda, Eric?"

Eric's story isn't wild and crazy. He sticks to well established facts. The fact that this wasn't allowed to remain up, and the fact that the comment above was, says a lot about how much fear and bias there is around this issue among the mainstream left. I understand the motivation to be the maintenance of credibility, and yet journalistic credibility involves covering issues that may not be popular.

This is just sad.

Edit: Based on my complaint they removed the offensive comment above.
