As I said, it has NEVER been addressed by the American Government in any way, shape, or form that I’m aware of. Yet, they have been questioned on it by SEVERAL people on SEVERAL different occasions.

There are allegations that the Pakistani Government lobbied the 9/11 Commission not to mention their involvement.

There is more reason to believe the connection than not, so in that regard, I don’t find Hamid Gul credible.

Just to be clear, and as I’ve said on many occasions, we should not be bombing Pakistan.

That is not an entirely accurate statement.

However…

I spoke with Coleen Rowley about this admission, and she said she met Fouda, and he seemed to be credible. I very much trust the word of Coleen Rowley.

He refers to Condoleezza Rice as “Bush’s incompetent national security advisor.” She was one of the most competent liars I have ever seen. She was FAR from incompetent.

He says, “Bush also reportedly told Blair that after Iraq, he would “go on” to attack Saudi Arabia, Syria and Pakistan.” I’m unfamiliar with this… could someone show me a source?

I left a very logical and respectful comment which wasn’t approved while the editors decided that the following comment was just fine.

“So the amateur videos of the planes flying into the WTC buildings were false? And so were eyewitness accounts? And the screams of the people trapped inside? And also the triumphant utterances of the Al-Qaeda leadership on videos? How much is the Pakistan Govt. paying you to support Al-Qaeda, Eric?”

Eric’s story isn’t wild and crazy. He sticks to well established facts. The fact that this wasn’t allowed to remain up, and the fact that the comment above was, says a lot about how much fear and bias there is around this issue among the mainstream left. I understand the motivation to be the maintenance of credibility, and yet journalistic credibility involves covering issues that may not be popular.

This is just sad.
