CIA Agent Davis Accused of Orchestrating Terrorism
Both Pakistani and Indian news organizations are claiming, based upon intelligence sources, that Davis was involved in not just intelligence work, but in orchestrating terrorist activity by both the Pakistani Taliban and the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, which has been linked to both the assassination of Benezir Bhutto and the capture and beheading of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl. Multiple calls to members of both groups were found by police on some of the cell phones found on Davis and in his car when he was arrested in Lahore.

US Condemns UN Expert for 9/11 Statements
A UN expert on Palestinian human rights who suggested there was a cover-up over the September 11 attacks should be fired, US Ambassador Susan Rice said on Tuesday. US academic Richard Falk wrote in a blog this month that there had been an “apparent cover-up” over 9/11. In her statement, Rice called Falk’s comments “despicable” and “noxious” and called for his removal.
Obama Signs 9/11 Health Bill
US President Barack Obama signed a benefits bill on Sunday that will help police, firefighters and other emergency workers who became ill after working in the area around the World Trade Center towers that collapsed on 9/11. The James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act, which amends the Public Health Service Act to provide extra medical and other benefits to first-responders at the site of the Sept. 11 attacks, was one of the last measures Congress passed before adjourning in December.

Lt. Colonel Anthony Shaffer’s First Amendment lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C., targets the Defense Department for buying 9,500 copies of his book, “Operation Dark Heart” for $50,000 and destroying them. The lawsuit also names the Defense Intelligence Agency and the Central Intelligence Agency as defendants.
