Jesse Ventura's Fake Phone Calls Claim Debunked
Jesse Ventura’s second season finale of “Conspiracy Theory” ended with an episode concerning what happened at the Pentagon on September 11, 2001. Among the many fraudulent claims made in the television program, Ventura included a segment dealing with the ridiculous assertion that fake phone calls were made from aboard the hijacked planes that morning, further proposing the idea that the calls were actually created by voice morphing technology. Jesse Ventura called upon forensic audio expert Kent Gibson for a demonstration of voice morphing technology during the show. I had a conversation with Kent concerning his appearance on Ventura’s show. Mr. Gibson had some very interesting things to say about the fake calls claim, Jesse Ventura and his Conspiracy Theory show:

My recommendation for everyone who cares about this issue. Stick to undebunkable basics.
Stick to things that make people think. Point out every effort on behalf of the Bush Administration to obstruct a real investigation from taking place (it’s not the crime that gets you, it’s the cover-up). Point out every inconsistent thing people have said. If a person says A and the same person says B, both A and B can not be correct.
Show people how “inadequate” and compromised the investigations we got were. All of them. The Joint Congressional Inquiry, the PENTTBOM, CIA/DoD IG reports, the 9/11 Commission (especially that which was sold to us as the definitive account of 9/11), NIST’s investigation, etc… you don’t have to provide answers to the unanswered questions. You just have to show people what they are, and what lengths our Government has gone to not to answer them.
Remember the family members still seeking justice. Make damn sure the people know about them. Something the media has been unwilling to do. Remind people of how that day has affected this world, and why it’s so important to have real justice for what happened that day.
And stay away from people in the “Conspiracy Theory Business” who take a cause, and make money from it, without actually caring about the cause. Judge people by the fruits of their labor. Make sure they are consistent. No one is perfect, but people should strive to be their best for this issue. Otherwise, the “debunkers” and our other detractors will never run out of ammo against us.
You speak for 2,973 murdered people who can no longer speak for themselves. This isn’t “my theory is better than your theory.” This is not, and has never been a game like some have treated it.

My recommendation for everyone who cares about this issue is stick to the strong evidence that moves you.
Some evidence will end up being debunked and turn out to be wrong — that’s happened to all of us in trying to sort out what the evidence is.
I think it’s important, in the mountain of lies and cover-ups all around us all the time these days, to choose points that will inspire and move people in that context.
Thank you for posting this. Unfortunately it made a lot of people mad, but sometimes the truth hurts!!!
